The hosts were really kind and caring which made me feel at home. the location is surrounded by nature with beautiful birds and the sound of frogs at night. I really enjoyed taking some time out for meditation and yoga. the room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a city break. the food was delicious and really full of Sri Lankan flavor. I also liked that there were small shops nearby for snacks and fruits.
There was some rubbish lying around and outside the property, but it was not the hotel's fault.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The location is simply amazing, with a view of the fisherman village on the lagoon meeting the Indian ocean. It's surrounded by palm trees and greenery, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms, although basic, are exactly like the pictures and were clean and comfortable. I especially loved the amazing outdoor shower, allowing me to feel connected to the sounds of nature. The breakfast here was hands down the best I had in Sri Lanka. The owner, although we didn't meet him, seemed really friendly and caring. The food was delicious and had a local touch. The staff were attentive and the service was great. Plus, the prices and value for money were excellent. The hotel is located in a quiet area, just a 5-minute walk from the beach. I had a fantastic time here.
Everything was just fine – no complaints whatsoever.

During my stay at Araliya Villa, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. Despite his cook being absent, he still managed to prepare a delicious dinner and breakfast for me. The property itself offers breathtaking views of the lagoon and the sea, with easy access to both. The location is also conveniently close to the best kitesurfing spots, perfect for any kitesurfing enthusiast. The owner even provided bicycles for guests to explore the area. my time at Araliya Villa was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend this hidden gem for an unforgettable stay.

The beach was wide and secluded, ideal for long walks and stunning sunsets. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always willing to offer assistance. The outdoor pool was a great spot to cool off and relax, surrounded by lush greenery.
The food was mediocre and overpriced. The room was small and cramped, with outdated decor and uncomfortable beds. The location was too isolated, with no nearby restaurants or shops. No activities or entertainment were offered, leaving us bored and restless during our stay. The overall experience was disappointing and not worth the cost.
